Welcome to Office Tutorials:

tutorials The Office tutorials focus on the basic skills required to start using these packages. These tutorials and lessons take you through the important operations that will enable you to
create new documents, newsletters, slideshows, spreadsheets and databases.

These tutorials are suitable for everyone from beginner to expert!

They focus on the key learning styles that we all possess and take you through each operation step by step with easy to follow instructions. All tutorials have been tried and tested on a Windows based PC.

You will need Word 2010 installed on your computer before you can use these lessons and tutorials.

The Office tutorials are organised into 5 groups as follows:→ 

  1. Word Lessons
    Individual lessons that can be used to find out how to carry out the most common
    WP operations or collectively with a downloadable booklet that will help you develop the basic WP skills.

  2. Publisher Intro
    An introductory step by step guide that takes you through the creation of a Newsletter
    starting with layout guides, planning the content and adding a heading, text and graphics to produce the finished document.

  3. Excel Intro
    This booklet is full of learning tasks and activities that clearly explain the key terms
    like cell, row, column, etc. and show how data can be entered to create useful spreadheets. Basic functions like sum, max, and min and formulae are included.

  4. Powerpoint Intro
    A series of lessons that tackle entering different types of multimedia and the use of Powerpoint tools like animations and transitions to create quite spectacular dynamic presentations.

  5. Access Intro
    Learn all the terms - file, record, field and the basic operations - create, sort & query records, with the data requirements and structure to give you a working database.
