Create a Face Animation in Powerpoint
This tutorial shows you how to create a face and animate one of its features using Powerpoint
- Launch Powerpoint:
Click →Start →Programs →Microsoft Office →Microsoft Powerpoint 2010
- Set up a blank slide:
From the Home tab
click Layout
& click Blank
- Create a face on slide 1
- On the Home tab click Shapes
then click Oval 
- Click (and hold down left mouse button) anywhere on slide

- Drag mouse across slide and let go button.
- If shape is not correct, press Delete and start again
- Create eyes, nose and mouth on face
- Create eyes, nose and mouth using the Oval tool (as above)
- To change shape colour - Right click on the shape
- Click Format Shape
- Click on Fill or Line Color

- Click Color button
- Click Color you want
- Click Close

- Save slideshow as eyeani (click File-Save As-type filename-click Save)
- Duplicate the first slide:
- Right click on slide underneath Slides tab
- Click Duplicate slide
- Slide 2 should appear below slide 1
- Repeat i and ii until you have 10 slides
- Make changes to 1 feature, eg. eye:
- Click on slide 1 underneath Slides tab
- Click on eye shape to select

- Click on top left 'drag' point

- Drag up and left to increase size of eye

- Increase the size of this eye on all slides
- Set timings for animation
- Click on Transitions tab
- Click the Advance slide
option and set time to 00:00:50 - Click Apply to All
- View animation
- Click on Slideshow tab
- Click the From Beginning
Experiment by changing timings and different features of face.
- Export to Gif animator
- Click File
and type in File name: PP face ani - Click

- Click Save as type:
- Click GIF Graphics Interchange Format
- Click Save
- Click When prompted to Save every slide, click Every Slide
