Welcome to ItrackLS Tutorials:

tutorials These tutorials have been designed to teach you the skills and knowledge required to carry out a wide range of Computing tasks and get you better acquainted with how the computer works. Some tutorials have been created as a booklet using MS Word and can be downloaded for personal use. Others are online tutorials.

These tutorials are suitable for everyone from beginner to expert!

They focus on the key learning styles that we all possess and take you through each task step by step with easy to follow instructions. All tutorials have been tried and tested on a Windows based PC.

The tutorials are organised into 4 groups as follows:→ 

  1. Digital Media
    Digital Media tutorials focus on different multimedia activities and skills that will
    enable you to use peripherals like a webcam effectively. Creating videos with Live Movie Maker, designing and creating web pages and common file formats are also included.

  2. Office 2010
    These tutorials and lessons take you through the important operations that will enable you to use the following Office applications - Word, Publisher, Excel, Powerpoint & Access.

  3. Glow intranet (as used by Scottish schools)
    A suite of tutorials presented in an intuitive interface that shows how to use the main components of the Glow Intranet - Glow groups, Glow Learn, Glow Mail, Glow Chat and Glow Meet.

  4. Mixed Bag
    Dip into this Pandora's box and find out how to use the Binary number system,
    write programs using Scratch, create an animation with Powerpoint and many other activity based resources.
